Daylight Breaking

Vagrant 388

Released on January 27, 2004

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

With the release of Daylight Breaking, No Motiv’s only goal is to continue to do what they’ve always done: work hard, get their name out there, and just be themselves, for better or for worse. A point of pride for No Motiv regarding Daylight Breaking, is the fact that the album was produced and engineered by the band members themselves.

Opening up with the anthemic “Independence Day,” Daylight Breaking is a culmination of the musical evolution that began on Diagram for Healing. The band’s trademark melodic crunch is still present in ample quantity, but it is tempered with a darker musical aesthetic and more perceptive lyrical themes.

With the impressive musical testament that is Daylight Breaking, it’s doubtful that any fan of emotionally charged rock music could fail to recognize No Motiv, not only as one of the more longstanding bands in the burgeoning modern punk world, but as a band that is just now in the prime of their musical lives.

I'm a big No Motiv fan. At first I didn't really like this album, but when you start to listen to it more and more you'll know that this album is as good as every other album from No Motiv. Best song is "Brand New Day"..... "Diagram For Healing" still is my favorite cd, so if you don't own this cd, BUY IT! buy every album from No Motiv!! Because they are one of the greatest bands in the world!!!!

yeh, they put a bit of effort into this one. full of emotion and energy, yet eases off at parts. I suggest for all those who still want their ex-girlfrends to get this. I almost cried. Because real punks cry, fools. A good little listen, il giv it 4, if you can't count the stars

IM A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED IN THIS CD. IM A HUGE FAN OF THE FIRST NO MOTIV RECORD ...AND THE SADNESS PREVAILS...AND WAS EXCITED ABOUT THE PROSPECT OF THE BAND PRODUCING THIS ONE THEMSELVES...BOTTOM LINE ...WORTH THE MONEY BUT NOT AN EVERYDAY CD
