Here's a re-release of CHRIS MURRAY'S first solo album entitled 4-Track Adventures of Venice Shoreline Chris. Originally released in 1996 by the now defunct MOON RECORDS, this album has been out of print since the year 2000. For those of you who are not famliar with the music, think about the soulful roots of ska and reggae. Artists like TOOTS AND THE MAYTALS, DESMOND DEKKER, and PRINCE BUSTER influence this sound. Great melodies, potent lyrics, and a whole lot of soul.

The songs, "Solomon and Ex-darlin" are my particular favorites, but each song (like always with Chris) is my favorite. After listening to this all I can say is that I now know Mister Bucket's biggest career error he ever made. pff, "the one man show will never go."

Chris Murray is def. original. And that is hard to do in the ska scene. Get this cd. You will not regret it.
