This was the first band Joey Vindictive (aka viktimjoe) was in that ever resulted in an actual record. It was self-released, totally DIY and has been out of print and unavailable since 1986. It is released here on CD format for the first time with all the original 1980's era hardcore tracks, and extra viktimzofsociety demo tape songs. Also included here are (10) tracks by a short-lived instrumental punk project headed by Joey called "rrraw-X".
These thought to be long lost 4-track tapes were discovered while cleaning out their storage space. These tracks exist here simply to fill out the CD and because Joey decided that since the tapes survived this long why not "share" them with other people who were into that music at that time.

Imagine Joey Vindictive singing the Circle Jerks and this is what you get, Songs are good no stand outs though. Not the best recording either.

My brother bought this and he's to shy to write a review but he said it was really good. He liked it and its funny how they have a story of the bands roots in the insert. It sounds like old raw punk so if your into scene-ster, hipster, wuss sounding unoriginal.."pop" punk (becuase you have to call it something) this is not for you. It's nothing special but I'd give it a 4 because of the albums title: "Wicked Rock Music Is Killing Our Children."

I like the vindictives, so when i had some cash to burn and saw that joey vindictive sang for viktimzofsociety, i decided to give it a try. But this cd sucks. if you are a fan of the vindictives, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SHIT.
