King Prawn

Surrender To The Blender

Golf 113

Released on November 4, 2003

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Straight out of London and at the forefront of the UK Melodic Punk scene, King Prawn are one of the most well respected and most exciting live bands in Britain today.

In attempts to describe the band, words such as Ska-Punk-Hiphop-Metal are often strung together. These descriptions together with the bands angst-driven social commentary, lead to comparisons with The Specials, Asian Dub Foundation, Dead Kennedy’s & RATM to name a few.

Aug 17 2004 Rating: 5/5 Stars

Surrender to the Blender has the more of a ska sound than any of the other cds although ska is definitaly not close to every sound on the cd. This cd also throws rock and rap elements into the mix. This album is much better than the one that preceeded it, although still not as good as the latest: Got the Thirst.
