In my opinion, this one blows Oh, Inverted World (which was amazing as well) out of the water! The music isn't a dreamy sounding, but everything sounds so damn catchy and happy and smart at the same time. Buy this. Now. You will never have a bad day for the rest of your life after this arrives.

Upon first listen, this didn't impress me, having already been in lust with inverted world, and after many a listen, it all clicked with me. As always, the writing is extremely intelligent and full of diverse imagery, speculating on topics such as figurative armageddon, loneliness, the significance of intelligence, bad breakups, and so on. It's all done in such a way though that it's not literal as you'd imagine. Over all, this album rocks and wails and even includes a steel guitar on one song. Refrain from using cliche comments with this one.
