Probably the best Jawbreaker cd of them all. It's definetly full of great songs and great lyrics. Best song by far is "Boxcar"

Anyone who has bitched in the past about DEAR YOU probably never bothered listening to this album, as, stylistically at least, its sound runs pretty much along the same poppier line. The sound quality and Blake's voice are definitely smoother than on the previous two albums, and the length of the songs have been pared down to about 3 minutes each. Although, for the most part, this album is as good as anything Jawbreaker released throughout their career, I have to say that "West Bay Invitational" and "In Sadding Around" do nothing for me, and, since 24-HOUR REVENGE THERAPY is 17-minutes shorter than any other Jawbreaker album, it's the record with the least minutes of pure awesomeness. Nonetheless, all Jawbreaker albums remain essential.

jawbreaker is probably one of the best bands that has graced punk in the last 20 years. even though this CD is not perfectly produced, the songwriting still shines through. songs like "ache", "do you still hate me?", "the boat dreams from the hill" and "condition: oakland" are some of the best songs written in the genre of punk. if you consider yourself a fan of punk rock then this is a must!!! buy it!!!

This is a great release from Jawbreaker. They have a great punk sound, intelligent lyrics, and sound like they like Nirvana.

This is probably my favorite record now. It's Jawbreaker at their peak. But all you need to know is that it has "Ache", and the people who say Dear You is better are just hateful liars.

Jawbreaker were one of the best pop punk bands to ever exist and it's a good thing Blake's song writing still lives on through Jets to Brazil. But while you're waiting for the 4th JTB album, why not pick up an old Jawbreaker classic? This disc is alot more stripped down and raw then "Dear You", but nonetheless one of the better CD's i own. Contains the classic "Jinx Removing". For any fans of Jets to Brazil, Descendents or.. meh, just buy the damn CD.

This is awesome, one of the greatest punk bands to grace our fine land. I think that this is the first Jawbreaker album that you should buy, then buy Dear You. Stand out songs include: The Boat Dreams from the Hill Indictment Boxcar Ashtray Monument Do You Still Hate Me ? And my personal favorite Jinx Removing. Seriously don't waste your money on generic crap ( Finch, A Static Lullaby) get this and you will be pleased

aLL i have to say about this album is awesome! I had heard about Jawbreaker before and heard some songs by them but never really cared much for them. Mostly cause they were considered "emo" and i fucking hate that shit. But a lot of bands that i like consider Jawbreaker one the best bands so i decided to give them a solid chance, i downloaded some songs i liked what i heard so i bought this album cause everyone i talked to said this was their best album. I wasn't expecting much but damn this shit is powerful , i can see why people would consdier this emo but its more like superpower-pop. Just great songwriting definetly catchy and smart. bEST SONgs are probably: "the boat dreams from the hill", "ashtray monument", "condition Oakland", and "west bay invitational". But believe this whole album is amazing.I can't really compare them to anybody ,they definetly have their own unique sound. I can't wait to buy some more albums from them.
