Another great Manges album these guys just wont stop.It sucks that they came back to the U.S and only played on the pussy west coast. Dosn't Teenage Bottlerocket suck?

This is the best Manges material I've heard. I doubt there are many bands doing the weaselcore sound better in Europe these days. It's a good time to be obsessed with band that sound like the Ramones.

Okay, a first listen to I was a bit "ah its ok I guess" but this is a cd that you must keep listening to. After the second run through I fell in love with it. I definitely sense a Lillingtons feel to this album, like in Secret Agent in East Berlin. This is a unique album, and definitely earns a listen to.

The Manges come in with their new album, "Go Down". Phillip Hill (ex-guitar player from Teen Idols, Ex-bass player from The Queers, Ex-guitar player from Screeching Weasel, current bass player from Even In Blackouts) produced this album and with Mass Giorgini, the mastering was done.

Icredible chainsaw guitar come out from each song. 28 minutes of the most incredible three-chord pop-punk. Andrea's vocals are incredibly well produced over here. Expect quality punk rock from these guys as always.

The first four song I would have to say that flow perfectly (instant classics).

Some of my friends and I have been discussing the drums over here. Of course, Manuel does an excellent job, as he is an incredible drummer. I believe they could have been a little bit higher in volume. That is my only complaint.

This album has been one of those that will become a treasure some day. Believe me in this.

Ok. I know I said in an earlier review that the DIE HUNNS "You Rot Me" was so far the best album of 2006....but....After listening to THE MANGES "Go Down"....i'm going to have to change my mind. I think The Manges "Manges Go Down" is the best album of 2006 so far. This is simply how pop-punk should be. Some great covers on this album "REVENGE OF THE NERDS". If you buy this American Version (Fast Records) from INTERPUNK you will get the bonus track "Now I Wanna Be A Good Boy" (Ramones cover). Also be sure to jam these songs "This Is My Rifle", "Jump The Shark" and wel.... now that I think about it...jam the whole album over and over again!
