its a great cd. sounds just like the record i bought back in the day. early straight edge hardcore. there's a reason these guys are so beloved. ONE THING though; the cover on the cd i got doesn't look like the blue and red one pictured here. it was a kindof cheezy looking black n white deal. but the music/ sound was perfect.

About 2 years ago I gave a bad review for We're Not In This Alone, and after receiving the aforementioned and Break Down The Walls recently, these 2 albums turned out to be great listens after all. Break Down The Walls contains classics such as Make A Change, Thinking Straight, Take A Stand , and arguably their best song Honesty. I definitely recommend this release, but I think We're Not In This Alone is better musically and lyrically so pick that one up first.

Out of all the old school Straight Edge Hardcore bands that have paved the way Youth of Today is one of my least favorites. I just cant get into his voice, but musically this cd is awesome! Check out Ten Yard Fight or Gorilla Bisquits before YOT.

This is Dan, not Howard. Howard is my dad(the one with the credit card). This CD is ok. really not the best that I've gotten, but I'm glad I got it. 80's straightedge, so you can't really go wrong with that--fast hardcore without that crappy metal shit that passes for hardcore today. It has the basic "I'm posistive, I'm moral" lyrics that one would expect, and has some catchy shout-along choruses. A little too reliant on mosh parts, but that's my opinion. Best songs are probably "One Family" and "Youth of Today". Get it if you've already gotten Minor Threat Discography, Gorilla Biscuits Start Today, or 7Seconds The Crew. Otherwise, buy one of those albums.
