This is a pretty great album! Fast crazy punk rock. Very old school. You can hear a Ramones influence if you listen closely, but it isn't obvious. The lyrics are insane, or rather I should say, they are bananas! I hope George decides that another record is in order. There just aren't enough bands like this anymore. If you want some real punk rock, you want Furious George! By the way, this album is pretty hard to find, so I would like to say great job Interpunk in keeping the rare classics available!

If the Ramones really did all the drugs that they claimed took their lives they'd probably sound a little more like this and little less like the aforementioned Ramones. I suspect that few have had the pleasure to here much more from this band than the sometimes boring, always pointless rants of George Tabb's MRR column. If that last statement holds true (or even made sense) then it is time to PLEASURE YOURSELF by picking up this manufacture plastic disc. Musically, this stuff is like punk back when it was followed by rock and not pretentious-artiness. Vocals are grimy sounding and much more drunk sounding than Lars Frederikson. And that is the whole point of a band anyways...not sounding like Lars.

This cd is kick ass. If you like old school punk rock then this is the cd for you. #5 is my personal favorite. Furious George rocks. I never heard their music before, so I bought this cd randomly, and I was not dissapointed. This cd gets 5 stars, nothing left to say.

Furious George. Ha! What a name. You know they took the lead singer George Taab to court for a lawsuit about the name? I would've loved to have seen that. Ok, this cd is pretty decent and I was expecting to hear one of those Ramones-wanna-be bands like The Queers or The Riverdales because I heard they were huge Ramones fans, but this cd is just raw and in your face punk rock. Seriously, that's all I can really describe it as is just pure punk fucking rock. Lyrically brilliant with songs like "Betty Crocker Punk Rocker" "Burger King Is Dead" "Take My Life Please" and so many more. You know what? Joey Ramone even sings on a sing along anthem called "Gilligan". This is quite an entertaining cd, and every punk should experience this band at least once, so if you ever have any left over cash, then buy this cd.
