If i had to say just one thing about this itd be. HORRIBLE. I really hope Jello had nothing to do with the cd. If your a DK fan you will not enjoy this CD at all. and what the fuck is up with Anal Cunt???? i mean shut the fuck up and learn how to play music. There are just a few songs that make almost decent DK covers, except a few change the lyrics a bit.

This is a PUNK DK tribute, as opposed to "Virus 100", which is rap, country, metal, rock, and punk.

It's near-impossible to attempt to match the intensity of a Dead Kennedys song in a cover, and this CD is a reminder of that. The first four songs are great. The next few suck, and then things pick up again with Angry Little Man's version of "When Ya Get Drafted". The version of "Jock-o-Rama" is a little too corny. The band Vitamin L made a rap/punk cover of "California Uber Alles" and added a trombone. The next two songs are pretty good, and Insult's version of "I Kill Children" is hilarious... they made a scream-your-ass-off-hardcore version of it (many other bands, like Anal Cunt and Visual Discrimination, also did hardcore). The last two songs are okay.

If you're a fan, buy this. You'll at least find it interesting.

Great cd...There is some classics of the hardcore/punk.. I wish they cover songs like "do the slag", "holidays in combodia", "kill the poors"..but it's still great..they are pretty much like the original ones.. the only bad thing...they screwed up on "california ubber alles"making a rap version on it..but you know..still worth your money..
