1st of all the swingin utters are one of the most under-appreciated punk bands out there. Not up for discussion. This record is them at their best, showcasing some of their most popular songs. Melodic, passionate street punk sung with conviction while not lacking in aggression, "jpotwc" is an absolute must have. Standout tracks include " windspitting punk", "derailed", "the next in line", "fifteen and t" and "sign it away".

To be honest I was not that impressed by this album. There are a few standout tracks on this album, but most songs sound too much the same and the album becomes boring rather quickly. This was the first Swingin' Utters album I got, and it didn't make me want to buy another. I doubt this is their best effort, because they do have a nice sound to them. This album just seemed somewhat rushed and too much the same. But all is not lost. The standout tracks "Windspitting Punk", "One In All" and "London Drunk" (And at least one more I can't remeber right now) are truly a joy to listen to and really show what the 'Utters can do when they're at the top of their game. Overall, it's an average album with some standout tracks, but mostly just average tracks that sound quite similar.

This cd is a swingin' utters classic. Its full of that toe tappin, fist pumpin music that just makes you want to jump right into a mosh pit. Although many of the songs sound the same, it's a very good sounding sound. The drums seem to have a constant rythym, which get your tapping along to the songs, while the catchy guitar keeps your ears on the lookout for insane switch ups and melodic picking. At times its hard to understand what they are saying, but as soon as you read the lyrics you will be amazed at how complex and well written the songs are. The Swingin' Utters fuse together the attitude and energy of punk with the good old whole hartyness of folk music. I would recomend this cd to any Street Punk/Old School/Oi Punk fan. If your just getting into the Utters then i suggest that you check out some of their newer stuff before you get this one, but this is a MUST HAVE for any Fan of the Utters. Buy this and you wont be disapointed... oh yah! i almost forgot to mention that the CD itself is HOT PINK! WOO YAH! you just cant go wrong with the Swingin Utters.

Amazing street punk from the San Fran boys. Better than 99% of anything else out there. Not a bad song on this whole cd, and if you know anything about punk, then I'm sure you've heard that this is a punk classic. Wind spittin punk is one of there best songs ever. So I'm gonna stop rambeling, but if you don't have this...I feel really sorry for you and if you do have it you are one of the lucky ones.

Out of all the utter's albums I have listend to..., this is my favorite. Hard to believe something this good could be on FatWreck (besides the two Screeching Weasel and Riverdales records on there). The utters put on great shows and have awesome toe tappin fist pumping songs. Start off with this record and get hooked!
