Wow! I really, really, REALLY DIG this band. This is probably the best material i have heard from these blokes. Hailing from the good old United Kingdom, they play some really catchy, really well written pop-like punk. Not too poppy though. The vocalist has kind of a gruff sounding voice which gives it a touch of angst. The song DEFEAT has some of the best lyrics, in my opinion, that i have heard. A very uplifting and beautiful song. Everybody who hears it will be able to relate, i think. My top three favorite jams, currently, are VIKINGS, DEFEAT, and SUNNY PLACES. Their other album, SNUFF SAID, is really good as well. Although if you are looking for your first SNUFF album, look no furter than DEMMAMUSSABEBONK. What does that mean anyway? Oh, and if you can find it, their first seven inch rocks. Thank's blokes!

A great CD to start on if you're a new fan.. with that being said, I would have to say honestly that these FatWreckBritPunx would have a problem with being uninspired and kind of insipid.. most would lose interest if their sound wasn't so damned uniquely their own yet so schitzo at the same time. It rocks to get drunk to. One second you're slumping into punky quasi-R&B grooves.. the next, it's the SubHumans all the hell over again! Rock and Roll!
