I think this is one of NUFAN best cds. Couch boy, 51 days, and leave it behind are my favriote songs. There new cd (the feel good record of the year) is great but NUFAN old stuff is way better. oh and one more thing, go see them live.

This is a most solid release by NUFAN. it is most def my favorite album of theirs. the singer's voice is not as trained and aggressive as it is in the gimmie gimmies, but its still some tight shit. best songs are: redemption song, 51 days (my favest), justified black eye and couch boy. BUY IT NOW PUNK!

A solid release. If you have any interest in No Use whatsoever, whether you have a few of their other albums, or you just heard one song by them on a comp, I would say buy this album... and then buy all of their other ones. They are guaranteed to NOT disappoint. Hey, even a lot of chicks dig these guys. So ur girlfriend won't bitch when you spin them in the car on your way to a fancy dinner.

No Use won't get any points for originality here, but that takes absolutely nothing away from the sincerity, passion, and urgency in every single song on this album. The sound is typical galloping Fat beats over a couple of moderately distorted Les Pauls with Reverb set to level 0 and melodic vocals with matching back-up vox up a couple steps. Originality is important but isn't always everything. Any person with a mind (and an open one at that) can relate to this record. The energy and heart cannot be ignored. It's truly inspiring stuff. Tony Sly writes about nothing really groundbreaking on this record, as in every other NUFAN record before this, but he's found new ways of saying what's on his mind, what he wants to fight for. Everything is solid on Leche con Carne.

This is the only No Use For A Name cd that i have, and all i can say is, it's one of the best albums that i have. And that's not easy for me to say. I listen to that cd more than any other cd that i have. No Use For A Name have the most unique style of punk that i've ever heard. It is a very punk sound, but with touches of not queer emo. Everyone who's a fan of any band on Fat Wreck should pick this up...right now!! (I happen to know that it's what all the cool kids are doing). Peace
