Meh, it's alright, could have done without all the chick songs like "Jeannie" but still a pretty good CD, even I have a soft side, SOMETIMES, not today obviously. Better than "Ballads...", not as good as "A Comprehensive Guide...". Track #3 is the best song.

Being the first cd i bought out of all of the good riddance cds this has to be my favorite so far. I just recently started listening to GR and have nuthin but good stuff to say about their music....Russ has vocals that can be both melodic and hardcore.....the lyrics he puts forth also sets GR apart from the other punk bands out...Ballads shows this perfectly. With songs like fertile fields, Jeannie, Salt and all the rest u cant go wrong with this cd...I cant wait to see them live.

This was a great CD.. especially the 1st couple of tracks.. but what threw it off was the lovey-dovey songs. In my opinion Good Riddance shouldn't do those types of songs, but stick to their regular fast-paced songs. I think that's what ruined my experience of listening to this CD. Having one great kick-ass fast as hell insane song, and the next one being all pop-punky and emotional. Still, it is a great CD and one of Good Riddance's best works, so get it.
