As with most of the albums i'm reviewing these are cd's i've owned for years that i just realized turned up missing or in really bad shape. There is no doubt that the first 3 Rancid albums are their best, it's hard to say which is the best. I personally think And Out Come The Wolves is the best but only slightly better than this album. Either way, Most of Rancid's albums are stellar with a few duds in later years.

Excellent. I was really late in getting this album. I only had indestructible and and out come the wolves. From what i heard, this was a must have and i agree. It's what you expect from rancid, good punk. There's less ska-core, and more punk, with melody. I dont think i'd call it pop-punk, because that has a pretty bad connotation nowadays. I listen to it as much as any other rancid record. Matt Freeman does a great job on the basslines, and the guitars are sweet too.

This is one of the best Rancid CDs, if you like the first Rancid album and And Out come the wolves you should like this. It kicks enough ass to be listenable pretty much all the way through.

Well, if you haven't heard this album, you're pretty new to punk, most likely. It's a staple album for any collection. Every track is good. The lyrics and hooks are memorable and timeless. This cd really shows how a good punk band can have success and reach a mainstream audience without selling out. For the vets, you know it's good. Just get it.

I guess I may as well do this reviewing stuff before the time runs out so here goes.
Overall a pretty good CD by Rancid. Their best album is Out Come the Wolves without a doubt, but this one comes damn close. If you are a fan of Rancid it is a definite buy. If you haven't heard them yet, though, I'd recommend getting Out Come the Wolves first.

Great CD. Im not really a fan of newer music(90's) I am a big fan of pennywise and Bad Religion. I mostly like early 80's hardcore. But Im glad I got this CD. Its really great. catchy punk revival. the 2 singers are cool too. they sound different and together soundds really good. One of the only newer cds that still has that punk edge... still havent heard anything like that from the 2000's.
