Wow. This album is amazing. The passion in Guy Piccioto's voice alone makes this a worthwhile purchase. He sounds as if he needs a cough drop, and it's great! The song "For Want Of" gives me chills whenever I hear it. If a song can do that, it's truly great. Other great songs are "Drink Deep" and "Persistant Vision".

Blah blah essential blah blah started it all blah real emo blah.

End On End is an amazing discography that appeals to fans of all music. This is just as hard-hitting and mind-blowing now as it was twenty years ago. I recommend this to everyone, regardless of what else you listen to.

Great CD. This is what I'm talking about. This is the true punk/rock the scene needs nowadays, it's a shame there are almosto no more bands like this. This is the true beginning of what everybody now calls "emo". But this is real emo music, not just a couple of jerks who used to cover green day songs with their bands and now they are all whining around. This is old skool punk rock with a buch of rock and some experimental things. The sound, the lyrics and the way Piccioto sings is really a emo thing. These guys are really emotional people, at least when they are playing. But don't get me wrong, even when they are emotional and they sing almost crying, ROS is still a punk rock band with the violence that used to caracterize old skool eighties bands. Fugazi's man Guy Piccioto plays and sings here and if you listen to this you'll realize Fugazi has a lot of this stuff on its music. But this is kinda different. Enjoy the true side of punk rock guys.

Simply amazing!! Some of the purest and most raw emotions I have ever heard. This band opened the door both musically and lyrically for many others and created “emo” although their influence has all but been lost. This is some of the most passionate and emotional music that you will ever hear.

This started it all. We wouldn't ahve emo if it weren't for these guys, although many "emo" bands nowadays barely resemble them. Worth more than these people are selling it for.
