I think this is my all time favorite DI record. To say it's classic is an understatement. The stars aligned when this record was recorded. Casey's voice with the guitar writing of Rikk Agnew (some of the songs appear on the Rikk Agnew "All by myself" LP). This also has some sweet live songs on the end of it. Classic OC punk from before it turned stupid and commercialized. DI is even playing to this day, which speaks volumes about them as a band.

Great D.I. cd. My 2nd favorite band in the early 80s SoCal hardcore scene, next to the Adolescents. This record is good, but Horse Bites, Dog Cries is better. It has more songs and the version of Spiritual Law on it is better.

For those that don't know, Casey Royer is the drummer for the adolescents. Duh!

Great OC Skate punk. I recommend this album if you like Ol' school Punk from the late 80's. D.I. has that great So-Cal sound that every skate punk should love.

DI is a real good band if you are in to that whole skate punk genre from california. bands like agent orange, adolescents and maybe JFA are similar to it. in fact, i think the guy from descendents is in this band. rick agnew or something like that. they do some adolescents songs, i assume they covered them because i heard adolescents first, but maybe these are the original songs. it's surfy and kind of poppy, but still worth the money. the song "guns" from the old school punk compilation cd is not the same as this. i was a little pissed because thats' the only reason i got this cd and then it wasn't even on it. due to that i give it a three. it's a little repetative too. but worth your money if you are in to agent orange and stuff.

Alright, I bought this cd because I heard that the guitarist of the adolescents, Rikk Agnew was in this band. After listening to it I was sorta dissapointed but its alot better than the shitty punk thrown out of record companies like epitpah today.

This is a fantastic album. Anyone who is into old school hardcore punk rock will enjoy this one. Innovative, well thought out lyrics and bonus live tracks, what more could you want? Casey Royers vocals sound almost poetic at times with the band backing his emotions perfectly. See them perform live in the movie Suburbia which is also availible at this site.
