The Dead Boys are a good band. This album has a great songs on it. The only problem I have with it is the audio. It's live and I understand that but, it is hard to get past it at times. Overall It's pretty good.

this cd pretty good...detention hall and 3rd generation nation are sick songs...but the only thing is that most of the songs sound the same
after detention hall and 3rd generation nation everything just kinda blends together into one long long song...

This is history kids, ripping-off/inspired by The Stooges and the darkest side of The Stones, The Dead Boys were solid gold sleaze and about as punk rock as punk rock ever got. Only mid-America could incubate so much boredom as to enable these guys to take a cue from the Sex Pistols and the Dolls, and make broken glass and hangovers look like so much fun. I hadn't heard this in a while and had forgotten how much Gun's N Roses, and all that fake bad boy 80's metal was trying so hard to rock like the Dead Boys...
