Blue Bloods

GMM 194

Released on September 9, 2003

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Boston band The Blue Bloods were formed in 1998 with an agenda to create powerful, guitar driven punk music. The guys in the band grew up in Boston, and they were heavily influenced by the sounds from the many great punk bands that Boston has produced for the last 25 years. By July of 2002, The Blue Bloods had decided to sign with popular European Hardcore/Punk label, I Scream Records after a self released CD. In August, they went into The Outpost studio in Stoughton Mass, under the engineering guidance of the legendary Jim Siegel (Dropkick Murphy’s, Slap Shot, Blood for Blood) they recorded their debut, self titled disc for release on GMM and I Scream Records.

No BS this and "Death of a Salesman". I'm not joking. Really. Buy It. If you like good punk/hardcore in the vein of Slapshot, Killing Time, Kill Your this...Boston is wrecking shop, NY/NJ tough guy shiite is way old now. Kickboxing was never cool (not even in '97-98') if your in it for the love of the music and not the tough guy image, buy this CD!

Amazing hardcore band. I'm surprised this band isn't actually on epitaph. They play amazingly powerful driven music. The vocals are great, and are followed with powerful back vocals. I don't listen to too many hardcore bands, but this is a lot more my style. Buy this album. 18 great tracks!!!
