I love to spend my pennies wisely (see what i did there)..and this was wise as you get a cd and dvd...however, when looking at the quality of the stuff when compared to the likes of 'straight ahead' then it prehaps is not the bands best work...still, its pennywise and they could have their balls cut off and still make good music....

This is real good. The dvd doesn't have much, so don't get this expecting a neat dvd. Demand Nomeansno cd's from this site! Flood them with e-mails! Grr!

This pennywise cd is decent but what can I say? Do many other pennywise cds sound too different from the next? I dont think so. Anyways, from the ashes is good plus theres a cool DVD attached to it. I own land of the free, straight ahead and full circle other than this cd and I can't really identify what the best one is because I think PW sounds the same almost on every cd. For that reason only, it won't get a 5.

You can't go wrong with Pennywise. Everything these guys make is genius. They show no signs of slowing down as they get older, this album has some super quick songs, like God Save the USA and This Is Only a Test. Ranks up there with the best of the Pennywise albums, which happens to be all of them.

This is a really good cd. Not as good as "about time" or "unknown road", but it comes close. I can listen to it from start to finish and be completely satisfied. I hopethese guys continue to make good albums. The dvd with it is pretty cool.

there is nothing on this cd that pennywise has done a million times before. pennywise is a band whose albums all sound the same. but, i must say, they are a incredibly good show.

OK, I'm sure I'm not the only thinking this, but doesn't Pennywise get a little repetitive after a while. There is very little variation. Not only is most of this CD the same, but it's pretty much the same as the rest of their albums. I also own "Land of the Free?" and "Full Circle" and I'm basically hearing the exact same music. I guess it's pretty good, but I can't listen to it for very long before I get tired of it. The best songs on this are "Waiting", "Yesterday", and "God Save the USA."
