In their almost three year existence, Philadelphia's KID DYNAMITE accomplished more during their short career than most bands do in a decade. With two highly regarded albums and a split with 88 FINGERS LOUIE, KID DYNAMITE'S punk anthems helped to ignite the modern hardcore resurgence. This posthumous release contains songs culled from every compilation and split release, cover songs, the original six-song demo, a live radio appearance, and assorted demo versions of KID DYNAMITE classics. Cheap Shots contains bonus DVD of never before seen live footage and photos and extensive liner notes written by the band, as well as flyers, from the band's first show through to their reunion. Members of KID DYNAMITE went on to join GOOD RIDDANCE and form PAINT IT BLACK and NONE MORE BLACK.

This was my first Kid Dynamite album and I'm pretty impressed. The only thing I don't like is that some of the songs are from some their rough demos but its nothing to worry about if your a fan, you'll probally be so happy to get a collection like this. I enjoy listening to them and their singer has an awesome voice for singing punk. Get it if your a fan; I'm willing to pick up another cd from them

An amazing collection of what Kid Dynamite has done over their short existence. Includes a radio show featuring the boys...they play some pretty nasty songs. Also, some outtake and demo versions of the Kid D songs you know and love. And there is a version of Death and Taxes on here with alternate lyrics. I would buy this CD for that track alone. CBGB's August 22nd!!!!!! Hooora! Reunion Show!!!

If you have all of their other Cd's this a good one to finish with. It has a few classics and some great covers. I love the Circle Jerks cover! I think everyone should love Kid Dynamite, and should hear Paint It Black.

I will have to agree with almost everyone that has reviewed this CD that KID DYNAMITE are one of the greatest HC bands of all time. Pure raw energy with excellent scratchy vocals. Stand out track on the album is "HEART A TACT". Also for KD first timers I would deffinitly recommend "SHORTER LOUDER FASTER" or "S/T". This is just a heads up but keep your eyes peeled for the full length dvd for KD, the teaser that comes with this cd is good but makes you wanting much much more KD

Kid dynamite is simply one of the best HC bands of all time. This album does not reflect that because it is basically a Post-mortem look at some of the odd stuff, with a few standards thrown in for fun. The DVD that comes with it is short but amazing, I truly regret never seeing Kid Dynamite Live. (I have seen NMB but it’s just not the same) So if you are a diehard Kid Dynamite fan get this now, but if you haven’t ever heard them get "shorter, faster, louder" first.

I got this cd because i was REALLY into None more Black a few months ago. But this is nothing like NMB except for the singers voice. This is much faster and more screaming. Dont get me wrong i liked it but i just wasnt ready for it at the time. I only listened to it a couple of times. I would reccomend it if your a big NMB fan.
