awesome. im a bit disapointed in the drumming, its a bit too slow and tends to make some of the songs drag a bit, but other than that this cd really is awesome. and you can tell that this band truyly has potential. theyre already amazing with a beautiful mixture of guitar riffs playing off one another and harmonizing, strong bass lines and singing and screaming. alot of amazing melodies and perfect for headbanging. major awesomeness.

Oh my God!!!This is the ultimate album for every metalhardcore fans out there!I just received it from Interpunk and have listened to it only once, but I love it!The sound is great and the vocals are amazing! The guitarplay makes my skin crawl in a very good way!The melodies are dark, yet beautiful! It mixes metal, hardcore and punk in a way I haven't heard been done before! And before posting this review I just want to thank the parents of The Rev.(drummer) for bringing him into life!

I've had this c.d since it first came out, i still love it as much as i did when it first entered my c.d player. These guys could sign to any corporate label and it wouldn't matter, their amazing talent could never be spoiled.

I read a Converge interview recently, and they spoke on the ridiculous nature of Avenged Sevenfold's member's names. Ridiculous names aside, this band plays some quality music... most of the time. This album opens up with energy. The second half of "Waking the Fallen" really drags though. A definite improvement upon their first album.

This album is so intense and so totally fuckin awesome. I love a lot of heavy melodic shit, and this album gives me that. These guys kick ass. This album is definately a great buy for those who love hardcore.
