This CD is great. I've been a fan of Anti-Flag since mid 1996 and their music really took a step forward (in my opinion) when #2 started singing songs along with Justin. Since then I've always wished that there was an album of all songs sung by #2. Well... apparently there was and I didn't know about it. This band doesn't sound like Anti-Flag per se but you will enjoy them if you're into "the Flag". These guys have tons of potential to be huge and it makes me wonder what would happen to them if he had more time to dedicate to this project. For fans of Alkaline Trio, Saves the Day, A-F, Rise Against and about a million other bands. They're easily as good if not better than all those bands I just listed.

This album really caught my surprise at how good it is. I mainly bought it because of the bands connection to Anti-Flag, but Whatever It Takes definitely stands out by themselves as a great band with their own message. WIT sounds like a more stripped-down version of Anti-Flag, but ranges into more styles like punk-pop,emo, hardcore punk, and the melodic punk sound that the record carries throughout. Chris #2 has a really distinctive voice that suits the bands sound well, but is a little awkward on lighter tracks like "Write For Your Life" and the acoustic track that closes the album, "I Swear This Is the Last Time". Whatever It Takes was a great project, but is just another face in the crowd among the legions of the political punk family. This album is mainly for the Anti-Flag faithful, and those who aren't in that club should pick up Underground Network first to become familiar with the big picture instead of this side project. Recommended tracks- 1,2,3,7,8,9,13,14,18 (pretty much the whole cd)

one of my favorite albums ever made, there is so much variety on this cd, no two songs sound similar. every song on this cd could be my favorite song of all time except flesh eating 9 to 5 virus and day in the life of a businessman they are to metal for me.

This is an ok cd. There are some very good songs such as"Green light, yellow light, stop" and "A Fistful of Revolution". Buy it only if you really like their style.

Amazing cd. Simply amazing. Chris #2 is my favorite vocalist out of Anti-Flag and he does a great job in this band. Don't buy this if you are expecting Anti-Flag, though. The two can not be compared. Whatever It Takes combines melodic punkcore with a bit of emo and it's one of the best sounds produced. Green Light, Yellow Light, Stop is my favorite song and you can check that out on A-F records site. Check this band out. It's too bad they broke up.

I bought this CD cause I was curious. I heard some songs before with an A-F Records Sampler, and I was curious. Fistful of Revolution is a mix of A Fistful of Revolution LP and Stars and Skulls EP. It gives you 19 songs, which is really nice.

Musically, it's great. Not awesome, just great. PunkRock by the book I'd say, but you feel the Chris #2 influences.

Just for the Chris #2's voice, this record justifies his cost.

I first heard of whatever it takes on the a-f records web site. So i liked the 2 songs i heard and bought this cd and it was really impressive. Well worth the money because you get the "stars and skulls ep" and "a fistful of revolution" So this i think fans of anti-flag, the vacancy, and the code will like this cd. it kind of sounds like emo but at the same time have the punk rock thrown in there. Together chris, kevin, justin, and #2 made great music and we will never forget.

This cd was awesome, nothing like Anti-Flag but still great. #2 has an awesome voice and the lyrics are really cool. Two cds for the price of one. Worth every penny. Buy it!!!!!!

If you love #2's voice and would like to hear the personal side of Anti-Flag's bassmaster, then this album is for you. Lots of great tunes here. Some may seem to drag at you a bit, but most of them are awesome in their own special way. Maybe a 4 1/2 because of some tunes that might rub you the wrong way here or there in lyrical simplicity, but I give it a 5. If you liked "Erase the Days" and "Green Light, Yellow Light, Stop" off of the A-F Records Sampler (also included in Anti-Flag's Mobilize), then you will love the rest.

Whatever it takes, is a good band. Chris #2 from Anti-Flag puts down the bass and picks up a guitar. He does relitivly well, but cannot break free of his Anit-Flag sounding roots. This CD in no way sucks, just not great. However, it has some AMAZING tracks, check it out. I dont think you will be too disapointed.
