Crucial Unit

These Colors Get The Runs

Six Weeks 76

Released on July 1, 2003

Thrash-Aholics Unanimous members unite!! Pittsburgh PA.'s CRUCIAL UNIT are the top vote getters in the 2003 Thrash The Vote polls, sending salvo after salvo of relentless daisy-cutter sized bombs of humor and all-out thrashcore at politicians, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, the religious right, the Flag, and a host of other low brow jack-asses! Fueled by weapons-grade ice tea from the lowlands of Pennsylvania, these kids are out to prove that laughter is the best medicine to calm those dire, anxiety-ridden days of terrorist threat alerts and the crashing demise of the U.S. economy. Eleven new blasts of the most insane, wrecking ball-destroying thrash in the US today with the wit, politics, and humor to make all your stressed-out thoughts and worries go least for the next 30 minutes!! Duct tape not included.

This album is amazing. A lot better than "Everything Went Strunk". My favorite songs are "Dubyanomics" and "The Quest for Certaintea".

Holy fucking thrash!! This band rips through songs and still leaves room for some good humor. Most of the songs are along the same wave-length but they all have thier own sound. Just think thrash. Kind of like DRI. The lyrics are great too...and for some reason CxUx seem to have an affinity for Iced Tea!?!?!

Think D.R.I., a very classic thrash sound with plenty of solos and breakdowns. Also great funny political lyrics for you to enjoy. The CD release also brings the songs from their split with Municipal Waste, which I reccomend you pick up for more partying thrash. What more can i say about Crucial Unit? Other than this will probably be held up high along with D.R.I.'s records.

Frantic hardcore punk with funny and clever lyrics. The CD has the "These colors" album, plus all the tracks from the band's split with Municipal Waste. Music to fuck shit up!
