The long-awaited new album from Los Angeles indie rock sensations the JEALOUS SOUND-BLAIR SHEHAN (KNAPSACK), PEDRO BENITO (SUNDAYS BEST), JOHN McGUINNIS, and ADAM WADE (JAWBOX, SHUDDER TO THINK)-and the band's first release since freeing themselves from the grips of major-labeldom. Eleven new tracks-and a re-recorded version of "Anxious Arms"-of blinding, pounding yet infectiously catchy rock, delivered with huge hooks, spine-tingling guitars, hypnotic, breathy vocals, and strong songwriting. Produced by TIM O'HEIR (All-American Rejects, Superdrag, Folk Implosion, etc.).

To me, this CD is amazing! All of these songs are great. They seem to have their own distinct sound. Hope For Us is my favorite, along with Anxious Arms, Troublesome....I can't pick! Buy it! I was in no way dissapointed with it, and if you like whatever sample you hear, you won't be either.

Kill them With Kindness works in small doses, and is promising, but lacks what it takes to make a dynamic, solid album. "Naive" is one of the finer points. on the plus side it shows promise, so look forward to things to come. On the downside it tends to be monotonious and lacks what grabs listeners and lacks staying power

I LOVE THE JEALOUS SOUND!!!!!!! I'M A BLAIR FAN FOR LIFE! ok, this is my story: i went to see piebald earlier this month not knowing much about the opening bands. oh wow, when i saw the jealous sound i was blown away. i would have bought the cd there, but i didn't have any cash money on me...so where did i turn? INTERPUNK OF COURSE (plus, if i would have bought the cd at the show i wouldn't have had the chance to write this review). well, this cd is AWESOME from start to finish. i am sooo happy w/ this purchase. i need to get the EP that came before this. i listen to this cd when i'm working out, haha.
