Slow Coming Day

Farewell To The Familiar

Tooth & Nail 80205

Released on April 22, 2003

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Calling Southern CA home, Slow Coming Day combine emotive indie rock with pop sensibilities and their debut album "Farewell To The Familiar" illustrates that. Over the last year Slow Coming Day has shared the stage with the likes of Slick Shoes and other prominent Southern CA bands. They have also been featured on Deep Elm's "Emo Diaries" #8 and the Tooth and Nail compilation "I'm Your Biggest Fan". "Farewell To The Familiar" was recorded by Ed Rose who was responsible for producing the latest Get Up Kids release.

Their live performance influenced me to buy the cd. It's well done but not as good as I expected. It is a good cd but could of been better in my opinion.
