Well Jeremy, thank you once again for putting punk rock in the hands of (not-so) impoverished punk rock kids. This is really a great CD. The little drummer boy has it and I listened to it and figured that I had to buy it otherwise I'd die. This is really better than I had heard of them from the Nuclear Saturday/7-10 Split demo split that Jeremy sent me once. It's too bad that I'll be in New Jersey when they come... but I'm sure there can be another New School showcase soon... with 7-10 Split. Really good cd, kinda blurring the lines between punk and hardcore, definitely. I hear their next full length is supposedly going more hardcore... cant wait to hear it, 3xover kids might have to throw down some moves. Great cd... buy it if you have the 11 or so bucks.

Well, where do I start? This is an amazing album brought about by a great band. Ever since I have purchased it, I have not been able to go past a few days without listening to it. I must say, I didn't expect it to be as great as it is. When I first heard it in its entirety, it just blew me away. There is no song on this album that is not worth hearing. It brings many aspects of life together, whether it is good or bad.
Many different influences and elements are put together to create this album. Punk, hardcore, and softer elements surely make this a must-have. Rich, full lyrics and harshly delicate sounds result in a package of marvelous songs that together form this amazing album. I now consider 7-10 Split is one of my top favorite bands. I ask you to please purchase this album, you won't be dissapointed.

Well….. how do I start? I went to a No Use For A Name concert in Portland in April of 2003. After the show, some guy was handing out color flyers advertising these guys and another band called Not Long After. He handed me one of these flyers and I told him, no thanks. He gave me his word that I didn’t like 7-10 Split, he’d pay me back for the cost of the CD. That sparked interest, so I stayed and chatted with him a little. It turned out, the guy I was talking to is the owner of New School Records! and he was out promoting his artists! I though that was totally cool. So I got home and got on Interpunk and found the CD. I went a head and purchased it. A few days later it arrived in the mail and I ripped the package open and put it in my CD player. I didn’t know what to expect, but let me tell you, these guys are now on the top of my favorite bands list! From the first song to the last, it is hard and fast punk. They are very tight and original; better then most newer bands I’ve heard recently. And the production is incredible! This sounds better then half the stuff released on Fat and Epitaph. Their style is kind of a NOFX, with a twist of Lagwagon and Bigwig. Just fast, tight and technical. My personal favorite songs are Chainsaw Death Riot, Three In One, and First Offendment. You should do yourself a favor and buy this CD. This is coming from someone who had never heard of them and in 5 minutes, they became a new favorite! And it’s less then $12, so don’t even tell yourself you can’t afford it! Buy it now!!!!!!

well, at the least- this is the kind of CD that makes you think before you write a review for it.
At first, it seemed a little boring, perhaps even repetitive, but it starts to grow on you. It shows that these guys have released records before this, but also that they'll be better with their next. For a local band, I;m sufficiently impressed. You can call it hardcore emo- and it really is both, but at different times. Some songs are really emo, others are really hardcore. My favrote song is "Chainsaw Death Riot"
I was first gonna give this a 4, but with all the other 5s, I didn't want to break the trend- and I believe the more I listen to it, the more I'll like it
c'mon, just look at all the other reviews- and it's less than 10 bucks, buy the frickin thing already!

Definitely worth checking out. I'd say it's like Thrice, but a little more "Fat Wreck Chords" feel to it. This is a good CD. Overall, most of the songs are catchy. Fans of Strung Out, Thrice and Yellowcard without the violins, TAKE NOTE!

I never heard of this band before, but I sampled a song on this site, and liked what I heard. The rest of the CD is great...nice mix of punk and hardcore, i really enjoy it and its not too pricy either.

"The Stars Have Fallen" just gets me excited. It's very well put together all the way from the booklet art to the thoughful lyrics to each musically solid track. Their fusion of musical flava is best summed up in coathanger (a doosey of a track) while carpe diem blasts the listener with a gripping theme that's sure to stick in your head for the rest of the day. As good as this recording is, it's only a part of their incredible live show. This is one of the best bands i've seen live, it's true - those beauty harmonies and gutteral screams on the CD are belted out with even more intensity when these boys are on stage. Good album from a great band. keep it up 7-10 Split. eyah.
