This CD is better than I had expected. I had heard the first to tracks; "Swingset Superman" and "She don't want to" on a BYO sampler disc. Both tracks were amazing. I bought the cd hoping a couple tracks would be as good, but every song is just as good. "Tonight the bottle let me down" is an awesome song. I highly recommend this for anyone.

most people i talk to either love throw rag live and dont like desert shores or can't stand the band. i, for one, love this cd. while it's nothing earthshattering, it's still a very cool cd in my opinion. the music fits the mood of the singers voice and it has an overall theme to the record, while sometimes becoming a little too blurry from song to song. a solid release in my opinion. good songs are rule maker, bag of glue, and reno.

i'm only giving 4 stars because the sound isn't as crisp as i'd like, but for an indy label, it's all good. throw rag put on one hell of a live show, though. energy and entertainment for the entire set. i suppose you could file this under punk/rockabilly, but it's fast, hard with good rhythms and true, punk scratchy vocals. it all gels nicely for their "sound". if you like reverend horton heat and sick of it all, give throw rag a try.
