ha ha ha.I'm a white boy,but my step dads a mexicano,so hearing him speak spanish all these years (which i don't have a clue how to speak the language) I'm kind've familiar with some of the spanish slang. And what's really funny to me (givin that kindve back ground) I grew up listening to thee originals (theirs being covers).some of the bands the cover like d.i.+ gbh +sham 69+ramones+misfits+etc..So to hear these guys rewrite these tunes and give it a mexicano attitude and lyrics.is fuckin so cool to me,words can't describe.I remember growing listening to Suicidal Tendencies, and me and my friends thought that was funny, cuz they looked like cholos. I got all there cds now,but personally i like menudo the best, but then who fuckin cares, their cds rock and there funny,Give'em a try.

Haha! Great cd. If youre not from el barrio, you probably wont get most of the jokes. But if youre a latin punk, youll love this! Yeah, some songs are covers of lame bands, but it doesnt matter, the humor is what counts on this one. She Turned Into Llorona is THE standout track on this one. Get it now. VIVA LA RAZA!!

Just one more reason I love mexicans. This band kicks ass. I love the concept of punk covers with a "vatos locos" attitude. Now, I'm as white as they come, but I recognize good music when I hear it. These guys can really play and their taste is flawless. I suggest you check out this band. It's like a better, more hardcore, and more mexican version of Me First and The Gimme Gimme's. Try it out.

A cool concept band and a nice record that I really liked at first, but I find that I rarely listen to it anymore. If I'd given a review within a couple months of buying this it would probably be four stars. I guess it just didn't age very well. There are a lot of good songs. I especially like The INS Took My Novia Away which is a spoof on The KKK Took My Baby Away by the Ramones. There are also a few crappy songs, but not so many that you have to keep skipping tracks. Overall a solid record that you won't be disappointed with, but you could probably find something better.
