I first had this cd when it first came out, I dont know what happened to it and couldn't even remember what CDTL sounded like. I recently picked up their new cd "Governing Yourself Accordingly." It blew me away so I had to re-buy i. I cant say it even touches the new cd, they are both totally different, I would check out Governing Yourself Accordingly first, if you really like that cd then pick this one up too.

I really like this CD, not too hi-fi so the sound is a bit muddy and it's for the better. It has a nice variety in the sound as well a few songs just really throw the tempo off so it isn't just a straight barrage of in your face speed and screaming. Talented musicians in my opinion these guys should be movin on up.
Buy this CD and you shall be happy.

This cd is not great, but not bad. Other bands like Thrice (who are incredible), From Autumn to Ashes, and Hopesfall are so much better. There are a few good songs, but On Hard Times is the only one that i thought was worth it. Buy it if you want... or just download the few good ones.

This CD is really good. Good lyrics, guitar, lots of energy. In a couple of the songs, the singer sings with his normal voice and it really sounds good. It would be cool to hear a whole album like that instead of screaming, but whatever, it's still good.

This cd is ok.... it is nowhere near as good as thrice or stretch armstrong, if you wanna buy this album dont and buy STRIKE ANYWHERE or BEERBONG instead. They are much better. No more to say....

this band is amazing.. the guitar on this cd is absolutely incredible. the guys voice takes a little getting used to, but once you listen to it enough you really start to like it. Heavy but also really melodic. buy this cd (im not sure about the thrice comparison though) you won't be disappointed

well, the review already mentions a comparison to Stretch Arm Strong and Thrice, so I won't mention the obvious. But I will say that there are many times that record reviews in general say something like "For Fans Of: (insert popular band name here)" just to get attention...in this case, Stretch Arm Strong is the perfect comparison, not a rip off by any means, but if you like Stretch, you will most likely enjoy this...modern sounding hardcore with an old school influence, aggressive harsh vocals with the occasional singing part, and soundwriting that is better than a lot of other bands doing the same kinda stuff, I acutally like this better than Thrice....anyway, yeah 5 stars.
