Terrific EP, containing the excellent & unforgetable song "The Greatest Fall (Of All Time)". In all I d say buy it its an EP so its pretty cheap, and also the heavier side of MR

i bought this album after getting their full-length - which is incredible! this ep was disappointing in that it all sounds pretty bland. these guys definately saved the better songs for the debut album. i don't recommend it ... save your money and buy "stories & alibis" instead!

Man My Favorite song on this EP is "14 Balloons" It's really catchy and shit and before you know it it's over because it's only like a minute long, All of the tracks on this CD good, so I would say get this CD and then the Full-length Album.

emocore, screamo whatever you want to call it Matchbook Romance has catchy lyrics and melodic guitar riffs. They are nothing out of the ordinary as far as the emo/hardcore genre goes. Fans of Taking Back Sunday, Senses Fail and Thursday will want to check these guys out.

The 2nd song is the only good one and it is a very good song. I do wish the CD had more songs because I can't realy decide if I want to pick up the full length or not. maybe I'll go read reviews about that CD.

I took a chance on this band and went ahead and brought the ep. I have never once regretted doing so and will be first in line when their full length comes out soon. If you are a fan of 'emo' then you will like this. I think the best way to describe this band is if you put Finch and Taking Back Sunday in a blender = Matchbook Romance.
Great tracks except track 3 which is a bit lame.
Buy it

Average, VERY average. Disapointing at first due to the hype that drew me to this band however I was crushed after hearing them. Matchbook Romance sound like a blend of something corporate/allister with a few occasional screams and shouts to try and up the tempo. On the whole a rather drab effort combinging teen/pop punk with a bland/typical/raggedy screamo edge. Nothing worth worrying about. Try JOHNNY TRUANT instead! (much better!)
