Dragging The Lake

Issue #0 Video Zine

(Finch, Counterfit, Sick Of It All, Rival Schools, American Nothing, Taking Back Sunday, Boxcar Racer)

Released on March 25, 2003

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Dragging The Lake Video Magazine is the new DVD series that will bring you closer to the bands and the music in the indie rock, punk, and hardcore scenes.

Through the different articles of the magazine you will have the chance to learn about the musical interests, touring conditions, recording sessions, hometowns, the personalities, and the actual lives of the musicians and other people in the music industry.

Dragging The Lake has in depth behind the scenes footage, live shows, and interviews with established bands, and also sheds some light on new, up and coming bands.

They pull new and old videos from the video shelf that otherwise might not be seen, as well as giving a small background on the band or the song.

This DVD was good, but no better than good! It wasn't worth 12 bucks I think, more like 8, no more..maybe even less! I give it a 2, and thats for 2 things, Matt Skibas cameo apperance interview, and R2K's day out! that was kinda funny!

the potential for this dvd series is staggering...unfortunitly the first 2 installments are dissapointments...worth buying, but def dissapointing. as a tbs fan, i enjoyed the live footage, but you could tell adam was recovering from his broken leg (when he fell off stage) so he wasn't moving around as much as usual. really not too much to the rest of it. the second one is better, because you get live footage of cursive, and recover looks freaking insane live...they show short clips of them, and on the extra features recover plays a song live. thrice video on that one is awesome too, so i def suggest you buy the second one first. hope they cut the crap out in the future and starts really living up to what they are trying to do. peace

As most people have said the highlight of this DVD is the "Day in the life of R2K" piece.A good dvd for the price but it could be better.

Not Bad, Not A fan of some of the bands on here, but overall pretty good watch. Try to watch it off a friend before buying it. But if nobody has it, buy it and make your friends pay a buck to see it.

Good DVD but not as good as I expected. What I like from this DVD is "A Day In The Life with R2K", "Box Car Racer Live Footage" and "Taking Back Sunday Live Footage".

This DVD is worth getting just because of the "Day In The Life Of Randy Strohmeyer". It's very funny. Also, the tour of Taking Back Sunday's van, is awesome. I would definitly recomend getting this. It also gives you Finch's "Letters To You" video. It's good.

this wasn't as good as i thought it'd be...the best part is the r2k footage...and then boxcar...other than that it's just a bunch of videos and bullshit...
