I really love Richard Hell & The Voidoids "Blank Generation" album. If you haven't heard that then do yourself a favor. You will throw your Anti-Flag CD's out the gawddamn window and develop a real sense of what punk rock was suppossed to mean in the first place. This feature film is fiction based on reality. It's the story of Billy (Hell) who falls in love with a french reporter named Nada. Twenty minutes into the film and I thought "Geez these people are sleazy". The setting is in and around CBGB's. It's more of a documentary than anything else featuring the real music, clubs, and people that made up the "original" punk scene in New York City. This is what it's all about kiddies.....
