Turbonegro, possibly the most threatening combo to ever leave the fjords of Norway, the band spent a good ten years wreaking havoc on rock'n'roll, sexual stereotypes, European and American stages, as well as their own bodies and minds, before dissolving in the waiting room of a psychiatric emergency ward in Milan, Italy 1998. Excellent production - a huge, FAT sound; lots of power and excellent songs that you can't get out of your head. From punk to metal to mainstream, "Apocalypse Dudes" has something for everyone. Contains mpeg videos of "Get It On" and "Are You Ready (For Some Darkness)". Plus an exclusive live-take of "The Age Of Pamparius", shot at Quart festival, 2002.

This was not what i was expecting to say the least but never the less its ok, so far. I was surprise on how the music is more punk than rock. the band strikes me as a degenerate village people.

Are you ready for some darkness? Are you ready for some fun? Then pick up this album. Take it from a Turbojugend like myself: You will find no finer album in Scandanavia. This album is perfection. Long live the Denim Recruits!

Buy this now. this album is the way more punk rock should sound like today.not all tracks are great but most are.the band has a cheesy image but give em a break their from Norway and besides who cares they can write good punk and that says a lot considering how few good punk bands there are around these days. if you're looking for a new band to get into or if you bought another one of their albums and thought it sucked or if you're a mall punk fan and wondering what real punk sounds like buy this cd.
