Turbonegro

Ass Cobra (Re-release)

Epitaph/Burning Heart 82028

Released on February 25, 2003

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

In your wait for the new TURBONEGRO album, their third album “Ass Cobra” is now available on Burning Heart Records! Contains mpeg videos of "Denim Demon" and an exclusive live-take of "The Midnight NAMBLA", shot at Quart festival, 2002. This album manifested Turbonegros’ image as one of the best bands of the 90s. Each song is a little masterpiece full of rage, non-pc-lyrics, anger, incredible power and ready to piss off people.... Many people think that this is the best punk album ever.

Turbonegro kicks ass. That's all you need to know. Unlike 'Apocalypse Dudes' and some of their newer albums, this record has a very punk rock feel. It still has the pounding riffs and catchy hooks we expect from the vikings of rock and roll, but it's a little bit faster paced and there are less leads throughout. The speed gives it a sort of frantic energy, and the simpler style makes it a classic must have punk record. A must have for anyone who loves rock, punk, denim and killer fuckin tunes. Check this one or you'll regret it when these boys come to burn your village!

In case you didn't already know, Turbonegro are definitely the best band to arrive in the past ten years. Ass Cobra is them at their rawest, punkest, and definitely most homosexual. Even the straightest of straights will be strangely attracted to these nordic gods of rock. This along with Apocalypse Dudes are prime examples of punk rock for the new millenium.
