I have been listening to the Huntingtons since their 2nd album came out (fun and games), and every album that I buy from them always exceeds my expectations. This album was a pleasant surprise because Retarded turned out to be a very good matchup with the huntingtons. The only thing I didn't like about their half was that it obviously wasn't mastered very well. The vocals are tough to hear on certain tracks. I recommend this album highly to those who love that Ramones sound.

Wow!!! This is a great CD. I'm a huge Huntingtons fan, and these songs do not disappoint. "Potty Mouth" is perhaps in the top ten of all the songs they've ever done. Really cool stuff. The Retarded songs are really good too, but I find myself spending most of the time listening to the first six tracks. Highly recommended!!!

First off, I am a MAJOR fan of the Huntingtons who likes the "new" direction the band is heading in, BUT, if YOU'RE looking for that "Ramones Clones" sound that the Huntingtons were once known for, your best bet would be to skip the first 6 tracks on this CD and go out & buy ANYTHING recorded by the band before the "Songs In The Key Of You" CD. Then check out the 6 songs on this CD & judge for yourself with an open mind. ONLY after that should you go directly to track #7 on THIS CD & prepare to be BLOWN AWAY by Italy's own Retarded! Like the Huntingtons before them these guys have definitely "graduated" from "Rock 'N' Roll High School" with honors! It's almost like the Huntingtons have "passed the torch" and it couldn't be in better hands. Simply put, if you're a Ramones fan, or just a fan of good music you will not be disappointed with either of the bands on this CD.

This CD fucking rocks!!! I had an erection the first time I heard "Let's fight", the first song, from the Huntingtons! It's a new begining for this great Ramones clone band that I discover 10 years ago! I think the new drummer is the greatest thing that could happen to them! Now they rocks more than ever with their own style! I can't wait to buy their new self titled full lenght.
And for those Italian Retarded, I have nothing bad to say about them! It's a following of catchy pop punk tunes with a dirty punk voice! They did a good job, this split CD rocks 'til the end!
Buy it.

Even though I have never heard a band more blatantly rip off The Ramones than The Huntingtons, I fucking love this band. Their last album "Songs In The Key Of You", was great, maybe even occasionally brilliant, though I doubt many people think that. It was way fucking better than the two previous albums before it. I really like the first three songs by The Huntingtons on this split, but the rest were mediocre at best. The real winner on this split is Italy's The Retarded. First off, that's a punk rock name if I ever heard one. Second, I like all their songs except for the cover - I'm not a real big Weezer fan. If you like The Ramones at all, then you'll like this CD. But I don't guarantee it or anything.

Great CD. Huntingtons continue to move away from the Ramones sound that made them famous. Is it a good thing? For me yeah. They seem to mix the old Huntingtons, and the current Ataris/Midtown/Movielife Etc sound. They do it to good affect. Rock n Roll Girl is the only song that sounds so so. Could be that I am just use to the faster version. This is the first time I have heard form the Retarded. Sound is poppy Ramones type punk. Too bad they didn't sing in Italian, that would have been cool.

This is a great album. Huntingtons do a good cover of "boy's don't cry" and their new songs are awesome. The Retarded are pretty good, too. Overall a must have for all you Huntingtons fans.

Side 2 is better than side 1, but both bands are awesome! The Retarded have such a great sound that is really addicting. The Huntingtons probably offer more variety, though. This split is well worth the $10!

Huntingtons - Great stuff from the Huntingtons. The songs are along the same line as those on 'Songs In The Key of You.' It's not as good as some of their earlier stuff, but I still like it a lot. If you're only geting this cd for the Huntington's side, I'd get High School Rock first.
Retarded - This side of the split was also awesome. Best stuff I've heard from these guys so far. The guest vocalist on the Weezer cover was really good, too.

The Huntingtons return with this long awaited split and bring along another great band. The Huntingtons, with new members, sound fresher than ever and really outdid themselves. Retarded also impressed me. Very catchy, cool sounding music that you should own.
