this cd is pretty good... but not really my kind of music. strong female vocals and a good sound though, worth checking out.

on this album, rainer maria takes a bit of a more 'rock-ish' approach to their songs, which you can tell right off the bat by their first song. this isn't a bad thing (in my opinion anyway), but what I'm saying is that there's a bit of a change in their sound from albums in the past.
overall though, if I could give this cd a 6 then I would. I know that's been said over and over again by people writing reviews, but dammit I mean it. the lyrics are incredible (just as potent as their past songs) and SO SO SO catchy. I've had the cd for about a month, and every day I've got either 'long knives' or 'the awful truth of loving' or 'ct catholic' stuck in my head. which is a good thing.

This CD is amazin, its not usually the style of music I listen to but its so good I gotta. The album is perfect for chillin too after a hard day workin or whatever, it is also amazing just cruisin around too late at night. The band play melodic rock with a woman singing who has an amazingly beautiful voice. Highly recomended.
