Street Brats

Dead End Kids

Charged 18

Released on January 21, 2003

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

After the very succesful debut single "Short Fused, Street Punk" on Charged Records the STREET BRATS have made quite a name for themselves in the punk rock world. With every song being a anthem you can't go wrong. Similar to the Subversives in that they are influenced by the original greats from 77-82 UK punk. The boys have been getting very positive press for their single and they don't let us down with this full length their first. Dead End Kids is sure to keep all the street, gutter, 77, chaos punks happy for many hours!!

Great band from a great Chicago street punk band. I have had the opportunity to see them live, and they are true to the scene. Their music sounds fantastic, and there was a lot of work put into this CD. I dont know what to say except buy this CD, you wont be dissapointed.

BUY THIS! I bought this about a week ago and it hasn't come out of my cd player. There's not one song on here that sucks. Sure, some songs are better than others, but it only goes from good to better. My favorite would have to be "living on the outside/" It's a good tempo, good lyrics, catchy as hell, and just about anybody can relate to it. So if you've got 12 bucks, and if you don't, steal it and get it. If you have any more money, pick up the 7"'s.

From the opening chords I could tell this was gonna be one of those albums that you listen to over and over again as loud as possible while singing along until your voice goes out. Great stuff, songs about life, fun, politics, an s.e. hinton novel, and a great cover of "brookside riot squad" make this one a fucking classic.

FINALLY! After buying some crappy CDs off-line, one that DOESN'T dissapoint! These Chicago boys know how to fucking rock! Each song is well written, and the C-H-I-C-A-G-O anthem kicks ass. . . Pick this up and you won't be dissapointed!

This is definitely one of the best CD's in my whole stash. Ignore all this "If you like the casualties, the unseen, and the virus...." bullshit because none of them sound anything like the Street Brats. Get this damn CD, it even has the lyrics for the "Short Fused Street Punk" 7" inside. If you dont have either of them, BUY BOTH.
