In Stereo was formed in early 2005 by members of Nuclear Saturday and the ever popular Atlanta act Lights Out. Since all four members have previously been lead players in other serious bands, they had the knowledge on what it takes to make it! And with only a few months of existence under their belt, they were off to a quick start – receiving endorsements from clothing companies, sponsorships from amplification manufacturers and enough motivation to take on the world. In early-2005, In Stereo signed with New School Records and released their debut record, Death Before Emo – which has landed them licensing deals, getting their hit song Waking Up on a Discovery Channel special and in multiple movie soundtracks. In mid-2005, the CDep was picked up for distribution in Japan by Trolley Bus Records, who has successfully moved over 9000 units to date! When 2006 approached, the band was ready to move forward with a release of a new full length record.
In Stereo is back with their second national release, Return To Alternative, which will embellish the stereotypical remarks held over the over-played pop-punk genre. This exceptional twelve track collection of pop punk tunes, embeds inimitable song organization and heart felt lyrics that only front man Jesse Cole could produce. Compared to their previous release, Death Before Emo, the songs contained show a more mature side of the band, while still maintaining their one of a kind sound their fans have grown to love.
