Spare Lead has been stirring the northwest’s punk scene since 1997, with their unique and original song organization and writing skills. The band started their career off by releasing a number of self-produced and funded CDs in the early stages of their existence. In mid-2000, they signed with New School Records and released their debut album, Secluded in mid-2001. After its release, the band found themselves frequently touring the west coast, sharing the stage with familiar acts such as Good Riddance, Death By Stereo, The Casualties, etc and achieving venue sales of over 2,500 units! Even though it has been a number of years since the release of their debut record, the band has continued to tour regularly and write new music. In mid-2006 Spare Lead entered the studio to track their new masterpiece, Let’s Run Faster When We Have Lost Our Way.
Spare Lead is back with an exceptional new full length and this time around, they’ve stepped up their style and skill to a new level, which will leave punk rock fans begging for more. Let’s Run Faster When We Have Lost Our Way offers a unique blend of all the punk genres, from hardcore to pop, with fast-melodic guitar riffs, technical drum beats and an original vocal style.
