Finally back where they belong, on Fat Wreck Chords,
SNUFF are set to make a triumphant return with the
release of the single from their upcoming full-length
(their first in a decade!) 5-4-3-2-1… Perhaps? The title
track and a-side of the 7”, “In the Stocks” sees SNUFF
return to the form that vaulted them to the top of the UK
punk scene back when they first started playing in 1986.
Their masterful skill of blending Motown, Motörhead,
and Minor Threat in a 2 Tone cauldron and producing
some of the most infectious and energetic punk rock is on
full display with “In the Stocks”. The term “instant
classic” is undoubtedly overused, but it’s never been
more aptly applied as when used to describe “In the
Stocks”. The b-side of the single rounds it out perfectly
with a newly recorded acoustic rendition of the track
“Sunny Places” from Demmamussabebonk. SNUFF fans
have been waiting a long time for new material and In the
Stocks will surpass expectations.
