A must have for all RAMONES fans. This is Canada versus the U.S.A. in a battle of RAMONES covers. Side 'Eh' features two infamous Canadian punk bands, the Hanson Brothers and the Invasives. Digging deep into the eighties, the Hanson Brother's cover of "It's A Long Way Back" has in fact been brought a long way back, and the Invasives wreak havoc with an explosive version of "We're A Happy Family." I may be partial to this song, because I'm from Queens like the RAMONES, and as a youth I was part of a happy family in Queens, eating re-fried beans. The other side - Side A represents two U.S. bands, 2 Sick Monkeys and the legendary Dehumanizers. 2 Sick Monkeys deliver an electrifying version of "Rockaway Beach" and the Dehumanizers, in their third decade bring forth "Teenage Lobotomy" with the humor and musicianship these hippies are known for. Vocalist Joe Daut delivers his uncanny vocal style that would have made the late Joey Ramone proud! This tribute has been properly licensed through the Harry Fox Agency.
