One of the best hardcore punk bands from Balkan area are finally back with their fourth full length album, which brings you fifteen punk-rock hymns. 12 songs from the album, the “Bruto Slavo” part, represent the good old Fat Prezident that we all know and love – think of Propagandhi guitar riffage meets Descendents on speed. The rest, named “VBK”, has a bit mellower, brighter sound and it’s sung in Croatian – take it as a mini-EP integrated into the album. Lyrically, “Bruto Slavo” is as insightful, deeply emotional and socially engaged as Fat Prezident records have always been. All in all, if you dare to call yourself a fan of bands in the vein of Strung Out, Good Riddance, Rise Against, Satanic Surfers, Poison Idea and SNFU, you will love this album by default.
