This is a hard album to review. Because when you're talking about Torche, you're talking about a band that is making better music than most bands today. Especially in the realm of people who have been making careers because of the roads they've paved. But with that, Torche seems to be held to a higher standard, and for good reason. Am i going to make an album as good as Harmonicraft? No. Are other people? A few, but little. While it's miles better than their lackluster "Songs For Singles" effort, this till begs the question of if Juan being out of the band was the demise. But when it boils down, fuck all of that. This is better than a lot of what you'll hear right now, by a band worth supporting.
