On June 11, 2010, The Methadones announced that they would be breaking up. "It's been 10 years and we've had a lot of fun, but we all agree that it's just time", said Danny Vapid. The band will play their final show on November 13th at Reggie's in Chicago for one last hurrah and to celebrate the release of their final album simply called "THE METHADONES". This album will consist of 5 brand new studio tracks along with out of print songs from their split with the Copyrights and 4 songs from two out of print 7"s from last year.

the Methadones are one of the best bands in the last decade. Totally sucks this is going to be the last cd this band puts out. this is a complation cd of all their 7inch and rare stuff along with split with the copyrights. it's awesome.

Stop waisting time and buy this now! Not only do you get some new cool Methadones jams, but all the badass tracks from the copyrights split,and the super "Gary Glitter 7". Such a great year for pop punk releases. So thank the Methadones for leaving us with one last offering before they call it a day.
