This a really great album. I dont know why but I really like it, its a great follow up to "Anthem for A New Tommorow". Mike Dirnt plays bass which is a nice touch, but he still cant take Vapid's place in my opinion. Very good songwriting. Every song is good but the stand outs are "99", "I hate your guts on Sunday" and "Kathys on the roof". If this had been the bands last album it would have been a great way to go out. A classic Weasel album that any fan of the band should enjoy.

It’s not Screeching Weasel’s best work but it’s defiantly not their worst. It took me quite a few listens to get into this album, but now I really enjoy it. My favorite songs are Planet Of The Apes, 99, Time Bomb, and Kathy Isn't Right.

What can I say... 9 years after its release this record is still a must-have for all punk-rockers. Enjoy mike dirnt from green day on bass!

I am a huge green day fan so my motivation for buying this album was Mike Dirnt on bass and the song "I Wrote Holden Caulfield". I fell in love with Screeching Weasel off of Boogada and Kill the Musicians so compared to those, this to me is a lesser album, but still amazing. I think if you are not a big Screeching Weasel fan yet you'd probably still enjoy this album...but keep in mind there are other (better) albums by them out there. Album highlight: "Kathy's On The Roof".

I didn't take to this album very quickly. The mix is awful; you can only hear the vocals, guitar, and snare drum, and a couple of the songs just blow. But there are also some really good songs, like "99," "Surf Goddess," and "I Wrote Holden Caulfield." Don't make this your first SW album, but it's worth getting.

This album is pretty good its not as bad as they say it is, mike dirnt is an excellent musician so this album came out pretty rad. The best song on here is I Wrote Holden Caufield. But it does'nt really matter cus even if this album sucked i would still like it............screeching weasel defines punk....all you need is your leather jacket and your rip blue jeans(ben weasel)

Screeching Weasel is first and foremost the best Ramone influenced band around. This album does not demonstrate their ability to create a fun to listen to, toe tapping, beer swilling, good time punk rock album.

Every band has the potential to put out an album that shouldn't be put out, and I beleive this is the one. (Please refer to Face to Face's "Big Choice" record) It sounds rushed, unthoughtful, and totally void of Ben Weasel's usual (audibly pleasing) lyrical and musical insight.

Oh yeah, Mike D from Green Day is on bass on this album, so if the bass sounds goofy, it's not one of the other 19 bass players from SW.
