La Spezia four piece’s brand new album was recorded in Atlanta by Joe King, voice and soul of THE QUEERS, and features a couple of songs written by Ben Weasel and Dan Vapid of SCREECHING WEASEL/RIVERDALES. The result of this punk rock partnership and friendship is a bunch of fast and melodic tunes, in the vein of the mighty RAMONES.

The Manges kick ass. This is a good album. It's fun simple pop punk. Can't go wrong. If you like the Ramones or the Queers you'll love the Manges.

Rating:

First off, go buy MANGES "Go Down" before any of their albums. Now this album "Bad JuJu" is really good and will grow on you fast. Awesome jams like "Motion Picture Rest Home" & "Last of the Savages" will stick in your brains for months. I don't even know what songs Foster/Weasel and Schaffer/Vapid co-wrote, it doesn't matter. The Manges keep all of their albums fresh and up beat.
