Smoking Popes have been a staple in the punk and indie rock scenes since the 1990's, playing a unique blend of up-tempo rock with punk guitars and Brit-pop influenced vocals. They helped shape an entire generation of music fans and wrote the book for Chicago's indie rock scene. Here is a collection of 20 songs from 1991-1998. Previously released on out of print 7 inches and various compilations. One unreleased song recorded from 1992. Called, "Long Day", the tape was long lost and forgotten, but was just found last year in the corner of the Josh Caterer's basement. Re-mastered by Matt Allison(Alkaline Trio, Lawrence Arms), this collection of classic songs shows the punk roots of one of the most beloved punk bands of all time.
