A fairly solid release from Charlie and the boys. It's got two sides to it, musically. The first side seems to have a straight-forward rock-sound, and the second side leans more towards a brit-pop feel. The great tunes on here include "Ambition", which features Charlie playing some mouth-harp, "Lie Down and Die", a faster number which is sure to please, and "Down on the Farm", which was later covered by Guns'n'Roses. I believe that the last two songs ("I Robot" and "Flesh Wound") will grow on me as well. The bonus tracks are interesting additions, also. The first one, "Plan of Action" is excellent, and "Keep on Running", which is also featured as a bonus track on the re-issue of Diminished Responsibility, vocally has a Police feel to it. All in all, this is a decent release, but I do not recommend this to new fans. Check out Brand New Age and Another Kind of Blues, first.

Great cd ! Many would say that this was the last all around great UK Subs album, i guess reason being that it was Nicky Garret's last record until they reunited in the 90's, but if you have the first couple albums you should complete the original line up with this cd, better than Diminished Responsibility by far, it seems that they put a lot of effort into this one and it shows because this album is awesome, Limo Life(demo), I Robot, Sensitive Boys, & Down on the Farm( a song that Guns-N-Roses covered) are simply great well written songs and you will want to hear them a million times a day, get this cd !
