This is Fugazi's second release recorded in December 1988 with John Loder while the band was in England for a European tour. These songs were combined with the tracks from the band's debut 7 Songs EP and was released on the 13 Songs maxi CD.
This 12" EP was re-cut and re-issued in October 2009 (with updated art) and comes with a free MP3 download.
Fugazi is a band from Washington, D.C. They played their first show in the fall of 1987 and since then they
have released seven albums and toured the world extensively covering all fifty United States, Europe,
Australia, South America, Japan and many points in between. The band is self managed and release all their
material through Dischord Records, an independent label founded by Ian MacKaye and partner Jeff Nelson in
1980. The band maintains a policy of affordable access to their work through low record and ticket prices and
all concerts are all-ages.
The “Margin Walker” EP was Fugazi’s second release coming shortly after the band’s 1988 self titled 7- Song
EP (DIS30V). Both EP’s were later combined on the “13 Songs” CD (DIS36CD).
Margin Walker was recorded in London at Souther Studios by John Loder while the band was on tour in
Europe. The release marks the first appearance of Guy Picciotto’s guitar-work in addition to his regular vocal
duties.
In late 2008 Dischord Records began recutting much of our vinyl catalog here in the United States. We began
by re-pressing current titles, and later re-issuing others, all re-cut at Chicago Mastering Service. All re-issued
12“ albums feature complimentary MP3 album download coupons.
